Scope of compliance with EU privacy and security regulations – European requirements

Edisplay Srl fully complies with European regulations on data privacy and security.
This Notice applies only if Edisplay Srl processes customer information with contact lists containing personal data of EU entities. For all other customers, the privacy laws of the country in which the collected information is used shall apply.
We are always deeply committed to the security and privacy of our customers worldwide, and have therefore taken the necessary steps to ensure the most transparent and secure service possible. This includes full compliance with EU privacy policy 2016/679, effective from 25 May.
By using our websites and services, you understand and consent to the collection, storage and processing of your information in accordance with the terms and methods described in this statement.
To protect the information of European citizens entered into our systems by our users, we apply a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) model. We define the processing methods, cooperation procedures and service conditions we have adopted.
EU registered users (whether subscribers or users of our free versions) who use Edisplay Srl for commercial purposes must agree to our DPA to continue using our applications.

Data Controller

At Edisplay Srl we also act as data controllers, but only when we collect your personal information for our own use in the course of delivering the services you have purchased. In that instance, we establish a direct relationship between you and us.
As data controllers, we guarantee compliance with the rules on personal data protection. We provide all necessary information about data processing, both information communicated directly and voluntarily and any information collected by our system while you browse the website and use our services.
Specifically, the data processor for Edisplay Srl is our administrator, appointed by the Data Protection Officer (DPO), who ensures compliance with the rules imposed by the GDPR.

When you use our services, you may import information into your system along with personal data you have collected from your subscribers or other individuals. In this case, since there is no direct relationship between us and your members or anyone other than yourself, you become the data controller. It will be your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate authorisation to collect and process data relating to the various subjects.
Consistently with the use of personal data processed, you enter into our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Edisplay Srl as the service provider for your subscribers through our platforms. The agreement ensures the correct use of data with the respective guarantees we provide as data processor.
In this case we retain personal data, processed on behalf of our users, for as long as required to:- provide our services;
- fulfil our legal obligations;
- resolve disputes;
- prevent abuse;
- enforce our agreements.
